Morning: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The morning session caters to younger children, primarily 2 – 3 year olds, who may not have spent much time apart from their parents. The teaching staff at Patti’s is adept at easing this transition, helping children to feel safe and cared for while they are away from home. The morning session has 3 teachers and no more than 20 children. Activities for the morning session include:
Due to the popularity of our morning program, we limit a.m. reservations to 2 days / week per child. Afternoon: 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The afternoon session is a time for 3 – 5 year olds to play with friends old and new. Many children in the afternoon program attend morning preschool, then come to Patti’s for enrichment activities that include science and creative dramatics. The afternoon session has 2 teachers and no more than 15 children. Children attending the morning or afternoon session are invited to bring a sack lunch and eat with their friends. Sharing a meal together helps build social skills and is a fun time for everyone. A separate “lunch bunch” reservation is required. Patti’s Play Center shares space with
Emmanuel Day School, making it very convenient for families to coordinate a morning preschool program with an afternoon enrichment program. Teachers are happy to escort your child down the hall to the play center.
