Cathy Jankovich
Director
Cathy has been with Patti's Play Center for the past 13 years and loves
working with preschool-aged children. Having 3 grown children of her
own, Cathy brings a wealth of experience and understanding. She welcomes
each child with a smile, and also enjoys getting to know all of the
Patti's families. On weekends, you might find Cathy and her husband out
exploring the city. They often walk from their home near the Japanese
Gardens all the way to the Seattle Center ... and back!

Heather Speight
Assistant Director
Heather was born and raised in the Seattle area. She began her swimming career at 6 weeks of age, and by the time she was 6 years old, already qualified as a USA Swimmer. It was also about that time when her fun-loving family decided to move from their home in South Seattle onto a sail boat! Heather still loves the water, and in fact teaches
swimming lessons to a number of children. She also enjoys soccer, softball and 60's music. Heather has been with Patti's Play Center for the past 8 years, and we are so fortunate to have her.

Maudry Speight
Maudry joined the Patti's teaching staff in September of 2006. Maudry and her husband, Tom, have been married for 35 years and together raised 2 children (yes, our very own Teacher Heather is one of them). She also works as the Head Age Group Swim Coach at the Pro Sports Club in Bellevue, and at the Woodridge Pool
during the summer months. Maudry has lived on a sailboat for many
years and can sometimes be seen riding her motorcycle to work.

Kim Strange
Kim Strange is starting her first year at Patti's and we are all very excited to welcome Kim to the team. Kim’s past experience includes working as a kindergarten Sunday school teacher at MIPC for two years, as well as working as a volunteer in the classroom and in the office at West Mercer Elementary. Kim and her husband Greg have raised four kids of their own and their youngest, Alli-Rachel, is headed into her junior year at Mercer Island High School. They recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary and spent a long vacation in California to honor their commitment. Kim also enjoys playing games with her family, traveling and reading. Kim is a perfect fit for Patti’s and she is looking forward to meeting all of you and your children.
